Our Year 11's had a mock interview on Thursday 27th November 2025 to help them prepare for future sixth form, college, or apprenticeship applications and interviews. These interviews given students valuable experience, build confidence, and develop their communication and interview skills.

Each form group were allocated a time slot to come to the hall and be invited to interview. Interviews were conducted by external professionals who very kindly volunteered their time.

Preparation

Students completed a PSHEE Careers Session on CV preparation and Interview Techniques. Students were advised to complete their CV's at home and practice some interview questions, that were sent home to parents.

Students were able to dress in professional interview attire to make the experience more real.

Students were scored using a traffic light system:

Green: Ready and confidence

Amber: Good effort, some improvement needed

Red: Further support required.

All written feedback was shared with the students, via their individual personal school email accounts.
