Exam Contingency Day/s 2024

In 2019 JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) introduced a contingency day for “GCSE and/or GCE examinations, should sustained, national or local disruption arise during the Summer examination series”.

In 2024, all examination candidates must be available in the afternoons of the 6th June and 13th June for exams taken in May 2024, and until and including 26th June 2024 in the event that June examinations are rescheduled. This is not a school decision and applies to all candidates in all schools.
