Feast Day 2025
On 8 December 2025, the school community came together in a spirit of gratitude and celebration yesterday as we marked both the 130th anniversary year of our school and the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. The whole-school Mass, led by Bishop Paul, was a deeply moving and memorable occasion—one that highlighted the unity, faith, and vibrant spirit that define our school.
From the opening procession to the final hymn, students played an essential role in shaping the beauty and reverence of the liturgy. Our Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, readers, and those who presented the offertory gifts carried out their ministries with a poise and maturity well beyond their years. Their contributions brought a sense of dignity and devotion befitting such a significant milestone.
Music filled the church with joy and solemnity as our talented musicians and choir performed with confidence and heartfelt expression. Their prayerful voices and skilful accompaniment enriched the celebration, helping create an atmosphere that honoured both our school’s long history and the special feast day.
The dedication of our student leaders shone brightly throughout the celebration. Their willingness to give of their time, gifts, and talents demonstrated the leadership, service, and compassion that we proudly cultivate within our school community. Their calm and faith-filled presence was a true inspiration to all in attendance.
As we reflect on 130 years of education, faith, and community, yesterday’s Mass served as a powerful reminder that our students stand at the heart of our mission. Their involvement not only made the celebration meaningful but also affirmed the values that continue to guide our school into the future.
The anniversary Feast Day Mass was more than a commemoration— it was a joyful testament to who we are and what we strive to become as a community grounded in faith, learning, and service.
