We have been so thrilled to welcome our year 7 students back for their first full half term at St Mary’s following the national lockdown. Students have enjoyed getting back into the swing of school life and have becoming accustomed to the rules and routines of St Mary’s life. Recent easing of restrictions has meant that students have been able to return to practical lessons in subject specific classrooms, face to face assemblies and (best of all!) some extra-curricular activities. We are all keenly anticipating students experiencing even more normality through involvement with summer events, such as religious services and Sports Day.
Students have demonstrated excellent levels of engagement and enthusiasm in the classroom and I am delighted to be able to share a few examples of the fruits of their labours below.
